| Coming Soon: Tech Trends Report 2026 | Lead Futurist, Gül Akcaova |
Tech Trends 2026, compared to 2023, has evolved to be bigger, bolder, and goes even beyond. It explores nine technology-driven chapters. The report explores the potential impacts of these trends on education, research, and campus operations, as IT becomes more integrated into institutions. A notable addition is a 10th chapter that addresses less predictable trends that could significantly disrupt the field.
The report captures, besides SURF’s experts, the perspectives from at least 30 professionals across the various sectors of the cooperative. The collaboration among professionals, experts and stakeholders has both enriched and deepened the Tech Trends this year, making it a valuable resource for understanding the evolving technological landscape in education and research.
The collaboration and the diversity of voices in the past months form an example for how we can work more collectively, and make use of the knowledge that every individual holds in the cooperative in reaching future-proof education and research in the Netherlands with technologies serving a purpose. |
